Kerisi Platform Gas Export Compressor Shutdown |

February 2008: Conoco Phillips Kerisi platform manager called Cables International to assist with the emergency shutdown of the platform’s export gas compressor.
The call was received at 2 pm on Friday afternoon and by 6 pm, emergency cables and cable glands to fix the problem were on a flight, hand-delivered to the Conoco Philips platform.
Commented Peter Duguid, platform supply manager, “Thanks to all at Cables International for another excellent response to our urgent request.”

Cables International awarded major contracts by J. Ray McDermott |

Singapore, January 2008: Cables International has successfully completed supply of all cables to J. Ray McDermotts and their sub-contractors for the prestigious Cuu Long Joint Operating Company Su Tu Vang central processing platform (CPP) in Vietnam.
With the support of our manufacturing partner, JS Cables, all cables were delivered to the project on, or ahead, of schedule. Commented Mr. Brian Sweeny director of Cables International “We are proud to have been associated with such a major and prestigious project and it has been a real pleasure working with the J. Ray McDermott team in Singapore”.

SemCorp Marine Subsidiary, PPL Shipyard, Major Award to Cables International |

December 2007: Cables International is delighted to announce the award of a major cable supply contract from PPL Shipyard in Singapore.
This milestone award comprises the total cable management and supply of 5 Baker Marine Pacific Class 375 deep drilling offshore rigs. Cables will be managed by Cables International throughout the fabrication period and delivered progressively to the shipyard on a just-in-time basis though 2008 and 2009.

Cables International awarded Frontier Drilling Peregrine II cable supply contract |

Singapore, August 2007: Peregrine II is a DNV Class 1A1 Drilling Vessel, EO, Heldk, Ice 1-B. The ship’s design is IHC Gusto BV, Pelican Class, DP, self-propelled, ice-strengthened drillship. It is presently in a Singapore shipyard undergoing upgrade and refurbishment.
Cables International Singapore was recently awarded the cables supply contract for the multi-million $ refurbishment and upgrade of Frontier Drilling’s Peregrine II drillship.
