Prosafe Produstion Awards Major Long-Term Cables Management Contract to Cables International |

 April 2009 Singapore Prosafe Production has entered into a long-term management contract with Cables International to manage Prosafe’s project cables inventory. The work scope involves full cables management of all Prosafe’s FPSO cables including cable insurance and maintenance, cutting, drumming, labeling and issuing to project job sites on a just in time basis.
All cables are maintained and monitored indoors at Cables International’s
50,000ft² Cables Management Facility in Singapore where all movements are electronically recorded and updated on a daily basis.
As Asia Pacific’s leading offshore cables supplier, Cables International is currently providing similar cables management services to many leading offshore companies including Transocean, Keppel, Sembawang and PPL shipyards.
